Introduction to 4D Ajax Framework

The Introduction to the 4D Ajax Framework class consists of a single 4-hour online session. All training takes place using the WebEx web conferencing environment.

You have a 4D database that you want to publish on the web. You’re envisioning rich, live pages that push dynamic data seamlessly to your users.

You are aware that 4D’s Web 2.0 Pack is a lead in to this reality, but you don’t know where to start.

The Introduction to the 4D Ajax Framework class is for 4D Developers who have no prior experience with the Web 2.0 Pack. This introductory course will guide developers through hands-on exercises, which will lead them to develop web pages integrated with the framework's interactive objects. A sample database is provided with the 4D Ajax Framework component already installed.
This course will focus on building Custom Ajax web pages. Thus, interaction with the built-in Ajax Client will be minimal. The example exercises will target the Data Grid object, in particular.

To successfully take this class you will need:
* An active internet connection
* A phone line
* A copy of 4D Developer Professional v11 SQL
* A copy of the 4D Ajax Framework (you will be given a temporary copy if you are not a current Web 2.0 Pack subscriber)
